How this website handles your information under the GDPR. Issued: 24 June 2026. Review date: 24 June 2027.
This policy explains what happens to your personal information when you use this website. It is written to meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you become a patient, the information about your health and treatment is handled under a separate document, the Patient Privacy Notice, which you receive and sign before your first appointment.
1. Who is responsible for your information

2. What this policy covers
This policy covers information collected through this website. It does not cover your clinical records, which are kept under the separate Patient Privacy Notice, and it does not cover other websites this site links to.
3. What information I collect through this site
- Enquiries. If you use the contact form or email me, I receive your name, email address, phone number and your message.
- Bookings. If you book an appointment online, my booking system (Amelia) collects your name, email address, phone number and the details of your appointment. This information is stored within my website.
- Technical information. Like most websites, this site automatically receives your IP address, browser type and device information through server logs and cookies. This helps keep the site working and secure.
4. Why I use your information and my legal basis

5. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. This website uses only essential cookies, the ones needed to make the site work and keep it secure. Under Polish law, the Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024, together with the GDPR, essential cookies do not need your consent. The site does not currently use analytics or marketing cookies. If that changes in the future, a banner will ask for your consent before any non-essential cookies are used, and this policy will be updated.

6. Who I share your information with
I do not sell your information. I share it only where needed to run the practice, with providers who act on my instructions under a written agreement:
- My website host, Infomaniak, which stores the website and its data on servers in Switzerland
- My email provider, Infomaniak kSuite, which handles email to and from my practice address
- Amelia, the booking system on my website, with booking data stored on my Infomaniak hosting
- Public authorities, where the law requires it
7. Where your information is stored
My website and email are hosted by Infomaniak on servers in Switzerland, and I am the sole controller of that data. Switzerland is not part of the European Economic Area, but the European Commission has decided that it offers a level of data protection equivalent to the GDPR, known as an adequacy decision. Your information is therefore protected to the same standard as it would be inside the EEA, and it is not transferred to providers outside this arrangement.
8. How long I keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an appointment: kept for up to 12 months, then deleted
- Server logs: kept for the short period set by my host
9. Your rights
You can ask me to:
- Give you a copy of the information I hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it, where there is no legal reason for me to keep it
- Limit how I use it, or object to a particular use
- Provide it in a portable format
- Withdraw your consent at any time, which does not affect anything done before you withdrew it

10. How to complain
If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, please tell me first so I can put it right. You can also complain to the Polish supervisory authority:

11. Links and social media
This site links to other places, including my social media profiles. Those sites and platforms have their own privacy policies, and I am not responsible for how they handle your information.
12. Children
This website is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 16. I do not knowingly collect information from children through the site.
13. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
